Los Angeles Kings To Start Western Conference Finals On Sunday

Los Angeles Kings will be traveling to Phoenix to play the Coyotes this Sunday at 5pm PST. Game two of the series will also be played in Phoenix on Tuesday, May 15 at 6pm PST.

The Kings are coming off a huge 4 wins to none sweep of the St. Louis Blues that led the team to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 1993. The games will all be televised on the NBC Sports Network, TSN, RDS.

Los Angeles Kings broadcaster Bob Miller said about the upcoming series, “I look for a tight defensive battle, with low scoring games. I think which ever team advances to the Stanley Cup Final round will benefit from the relatively easy travel because the Eastern Conference teams have had hardly any travel in the semi-final round.” Miller added, “Whatever happens, this has been tremendously exciting for Kings fans so far and we all hope it continues with a better final outcome than we had in 1993.”
