Los Lobos’ Big Week: NPR “First Listen” Starts Today

New Album “Gates of Gold” Out 9/25 on 429 Records

LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Lobos, the Grammy winning East L.A. legends are in the midst of a big week with several major events prior to the release of their new album “Gates of Gold” next week. Last night in Nashville, the band received a “Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance” from the Americana Music Association at their annual awards show. In addition, NPR will begin a “First Listen” of the entire “Gates of Gold” album for one week beginning today.  The first single, “Made To Break Your Heart” has remained #1 for three continuous weeks at FMQB with adds in major markets such as Los Angeles (KCSN & KCRW) and New York (WFUV). “Gates of Gold” will be released on September 25th on 429 Records.
