Happy new music Friday! For the past few weeks, every Friday we have been bringing you the latest singles, remixes and collaborations to hit the music scene. From artist such as DJ Snake, Nicky Jam, J Balvin, Anitta and many more.

Today, hit makers Maluma and Karol G released the music video for their song “Créeme” (Believe Me). Which within a few hours of its release has already reached over two million views and is trending at No. 4 on YouTube.

The feel-good song is about a couple who breaks up and must endure the process of moving forward, while deep down wanting a second chance with each other. As Karol G sings: “Y si tú supieras cómo me duele el proceso, de olvidarme de tu cuerpo, me destroza el corazón.” Translation: “If you only knew how much the process hurts to forget about you, it breaks my heart.”

The two-artist met for a collaboration during the week of the Latin AMA’s, according to Billboard Magazine. Where both teased about an undisclosed collaboration, although nothing was confirmed until a few weeks ago when Instagram posts teased about an upcoming project between the two.

Maluma is not the first cross-over artist that Karol G has collaborated with. The remix hit of her single “Mi Cama,” with Nicky Jam and J Balvin. Holds over 130 million views, to this day on Youtube, since it releases three months ago.

Last month Karol G was award; La Muse Elena Casals Award, by the founders of the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame, Desmond Child and Rudy Perez. “Wow, I’m very moved and happy…This gives me motivation to continue doing what I love the most through my music and inspire others and be able to reach every corner of the world.”

Maluma has also gotten major recognition through his music. He was the first Latino artist ever, to perform in Spanish at the VMAS and most recently was featured in the single, “Arms Around You.” Alongside XXXTENTACION, Lil Pump and Swae Lee. The music video currently holds over 26 million views on YouTube.
