Man Overboard and Alternative Press Launch Build Your Own B-Side Contest

Man OverboardAnnounced today the New Jersey pop/punk band Man Overboard in association with Alternative Press are launching a unique experience for fans of the popular band.

Build Your Own B-Side Contest allows people to download an instrumental and you can write and record their own lyrics. The winner of the contest gets a chance to have their song released on Alternative Press as a free download. Here are the details on how to enter the contest:

HOW TO ENTER
-Download the wav file from the widget on altpress.com

-Write your own lyrics and melody.
-Record your vocal parts (we suggest garage band if you don’t have access to a studio or home studio).
-Email an MP3 of the song to mobcontest@workinggroupmgmt.com.

 

WINNER GETS
Man Overboard will hand select a winner. The winning will receive the following
-Your version of the song will be offered as a free download along with Man Overboard’s version on www.altpress.com

-A pair of tickets to the Suppy Nation Tour
-Two items from store.defendpoppunk.com

-Autographed vinyl LP of ‘Before We Met’

Man Overboard will be going on tour soon with Story of the Year on the Supply Nation Tour. Also appearing on the tour Tonight Alive, Citizen and The American Scene. Following the tour they will once again be appearing on the Van Warped Tour this summer.
