Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this morning in front of a crowd of Star Wars fans.
Hamill received the 2,630th star located in front of the El Capitan Theatre with special guests Harrison Ford, George Lucas, Billie Lourd, Kelly Marie Tran and R2-D2.
“These will be brief remarks because words truly fail me,” he said. “It’s hard to convey my gratitude, my joy, the exhilaration of being recognized this way,” said Hamill. He closed out the event saying, “If it weren’t for the public, I’d be nowhere. From Jedi to Joker and back again, it’s been a fantastic ride. Thank you so much and may the force with each and every one of you.”
