Mati Gómez Performs His New Single ‘Verte’ on ‘Hoy Dia’

Urban music’s most romantic singer Mati Gómez released his latest single, “Verte,” on August 12 along with its official music video, and performed the track live on Telemundo’s morning show Hoy Dia, which he posted on his Instagram.

Directed by Felipe Zapata and filmed in the beautiful city of Medillín, Colombia, the video shows Gómez in a white room with nothing but a bed as he sings about wanting to see and spend more time with his love interest, all the while a young ballerina dances around him.

“I feel like every step has been a real challenge, but the truth is that I feel like I am living a dream come true. I am very excited to continue sharing more and more music and I am even more excited by the idea of being able to meet live with my audience, very soon”, said Gómez.

Produced by Fablo Feliu, Cobuz, and Bustta, the video has already reached over 86 thousand views on YouTube since its release.

2021 has been a year to remember for the rising star. Gómez, under the direction of the record label La Industria Inc, obtained his very first nomination for the 2021 Premios Juventud Award Show. Additionally, he has given his fans the best of his musical style: the Sutil urban beat, commercial melodies, and the most romantic lyrics, with songs like “Mi Viejo”, with almost half a million views on YouTube.
