Melissa McCartney and Richard E. Grant ask Can You Ever Forgive Me?

Melissa McCartney and Richard E. Grant open up about their latest film, Can You Ever Forgive Me? The film is based on the true-life story of Lee Israel, an author turned literary forager when she decided to embellish and create forged letters from some of the world’s most famous authors. The film captures the wit, sheer desperation and the creativity of the human spirit to make it in the face of adversity all the while mixing in moments of fabulous humor. Both actors open up about their characters, their characters relationship to each other as well as a time when they themselves were struggling artist themselves.

Both share schemes and plans they made when they were down on their luck, but not willing to give up on their dreams.

Can You Ever Forgive Me? opens nationwide on October 19th, 2018.
