Memphis May Fire sets date for new album “This Light I Hold”

Memphis May Fire will illuminate yet again with their new album “This Light I Hold”, set to take flame on October 28.

With over 300,000 albums sold and sizzling on the fourth spot on Billboard top 200 with their previous 2014 effort “Unconditional”, “This Light I Hold” will be the fourth installment for the band.

Produced by Matt Good, the album is said to contain “13 powerful, hard-hitting songs” that will lure new listeners as well as satisfy current ones. According to a press release by Earshot Media, guitarist Kellen McGregor said the album has a sonic vibe and each song “stands on its own yet the album gels as a cohesive whole.”

On Monday, the first single from the album, “Carry On” charred the airwaves on BBC 1 accompanied with the release of the track’s lyric video, that is available for streaming at www.thislightihold.com. Pre-orders of “This Light I Hold” are available on MerchNow and iTunes.   Fans can also grab bundles including CD, vinyl and cassette versions of the album which can be found http://www.memphismayfire.com/.

In light of the album’s release, Memphis May Fire will go on a two month “Rise Up Tour” co-headlining with The Devil Wears Prada, Silverstein and special guests Like Moths To Flame. Starting in October the tour kicks off in Denver and will hit three California venues, including San Diego’s SOMA and Pomona’s Glasshouse, and ends in November.
