Midsummer Scream Halloween and Horror Convention with be presenting their first ever live-stream on August 1st, 2020.

In honor of the events past performances, the Halloween themed attraction will be hosting special guest speakers from your favorite Halloween flicks and a few spooky surprises.  

In partnership with TEA@USC, a student ran organization at the University of Southern California, Midsummer Scream will be introducing a range of meetings with access to exclusive guest speakers.

This feature will be a dual channel stream, allowing fans to access both the live-stream and the guest panels from 11 am to 7 pm on Saturday, August 1.

The day-to-night event will be free to access through streaming via YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter/Periscope. All monetary values will be donated to numerous charities involved in the aid of families during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Since 2016, Midsummer Scream has been considered Southern California’s official kickoff of the Halloween season,” says Executive Director David Markland. “While our live event was cancelled due to the pandemic, we still want to usher in the spooky season and continue to be a platform for attractions and leaders of the haunt and Halloween industry to connect with the community. This is our opportunity to all be together ‘‘in spirit’.”

Winchester Mystery House, Dark Delicacies, Peepshow Menagerie, LVCRFT, the Creative Quest Foundation, Thirteenth Floor Entertainment, HorrorBuzz, Disney Coast to Coast, and Epic Entertainment Group are just some of the presenters and partners that are involved in the making of this attraction.

“Midsummer Scream 2020 will feature over 300 spooky exhibitors and vendors. From horror collectibles, to props and effects for haunted attractions, to Gothic apparel, and more, our show floor will offer the most exhaustive spooky shopping experience ever!”

For more of Midsummer Scream, a “trick or treat” pack is available for purchase with a customized T-shirt, along with a few more surprises to enjoy before the live-stream airs.
