They’re “The Beatles of this generation,” says Donald Glover, who shouted the group out at last years Golden Globes Awards.
Now, one year later now Migos lands 14 songs on the hot 100, with their new album ‘Culture ll’.
According to Nielsen Music, they also make Billboard chart history: The trio ties The Beatles for the most simultaneous entries on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart among groups with 14.
And still, there has been no other duo or group that has had more than nine songs on the Hot 100 at once.
As a matter of fact, before the Migos the cast of Glee came close with nine on Feb. 26, 2011.
Out of the 14 songs total, 13 of the tracks are from their recently released Culture II album. Debuting with 199,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release.
In addition, one of the songs that doesn’t belong to the Migos, but that they are featured on is Gucci Mane’s “I Get the Bag,”
