The K-pop sensations, Monsta X, are set to hit multiple U.S. cities on their North American tour starting in July. The tour will kick off in Chicago on July 20 and wrap up in Los Angeles on August 3.
Their new EP, The Connect: Dejavu landed the boy band on U.S. Billboard charts. The band is currently on three major billboard charts with Heatseekers at #8, Top Social 50 at #5 and World Albums at #2.
The Connect: Dejavu marks their sixth mini album since the formation of the band. According to Billboard, the EP brought Monsta X their best sales week in America with 2,000 sales ending on the week of March 29.
Monsta X success kicked off after the members were selected through the survival show NO.MERCY in 2015. The band’s aggressive style combines rap, rock and dance moves in their latest video “Jealousy” gaining 7 million views and counting on YouTube.
Since their debut in 2015, the band has worked toward connecting with fans in the United States. The success of the tour could boost Monster X as the next K-pop sensations in the U.S.
“We can’t wait to come back to the U.S. to tour for our fans. Our “Monbebes” are supporting us and we look forward to making even more friends when we tour this time,” said I.M. rapper from Monsta X in a press release. “We feel more excited about this tour because of so much growth.”
