New RCA Televisions Feature Pre-Installed Roku Streaming Service

RCA Roku TVSmart televisions have become a popular and convenient staple for the modern home theater system. Now RCA has introduced a brand new partnership with Roku that will set the new lineup of RCA televisions apart from the rest of the competition.

The latest lineup of a dozen new RCA Televisions will now come equipped with Roku streaming capability thanks to the pre-installed Roku Steaming Stick (Roku Ready version). 12 new RCA HDTV models in screen sizes that range from 28- to 65-inches are now available with Roku functionality.

Fast and convenient access to the Roku Channel Store, which includes access to thousands of streaming choices such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, will now come included with the new models. Access to Roku is controlled by the TV’s remote control and no additional power connection will be required.

“Roku’s streaming platform is accessible directly from the TV remote, making it possible to jump straight to the Roku home screen to start watching in any room with a Wi-Fi connection. There’s no additional equipment needed and it’s pre-installed for maximum convenience and ease of use,” said Pat Deighan, Vice President of Sales for ON Corporation, the licensed manufacturer of big-screen RCA television products.

Manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the televisions start at $199.99 (for the 28 inch 720p) and peak at only $999.99 (65 inch 1080p at 120hz), clearly demonstrating that RCA is providing value and performance at a reasonable price for consumers hungry to stream their favorite movies and shows in high definition.

RCA TV models with the Roku Streaming Stick are available now at Best Buy, Walmart.com, Sears.com, BJ’s Wholesale Club, SamsClub.com and select regional electronics retailers.
