President of Marvel Entertainment Dan Buckley mentioned the importance of bringing more collectibles of the Marvel character for the fans. “Spider-Man is one of the most legendary Super Heroes in the Marvel Universe, so there was no better way to kick off our global digital collectibles experience with VeVe,” he said. “We can’t wait to bring Marvel fans and collectors even more exciting drops throughout August and beyond.”

As for David Yu, Co-founder, and CEO of Veve, he’s excited to not only bring fans their favorite Marvel superhero but also work with one of the best-known companies in the entertainment industry. “It is very exciting to see our collaboration with Marvel finally come to fruition,” Yu said. “We cannot wait to offer fans unique ways to collect their favorite Marvel Super Heroes and memorabilia in digital form. Marvel has been a great partner, and we look forward to celebrating the ‘Marvel Month’ with fans around the world on the VeVe app.”

The Spider-Man series drop is the first of many digital statues, digital comic books, and other digital collectibles in VeVe’s “Marvel Month” initiative. As fans celebrate throughout August, Veve mentions creating other collectibles from the Marvel Comics, issue no.1 , first released in 1939. Each version of those NFTs will have five different comic book covers, and a rarity level in a ‘blind box’ retailing at $6.99. Also, Marvel Mighty’s, a new exclusive line of Super-D figures featuring Captain America characters like Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, John F. Walker, and the Red Skull, will be retailing for $13.00 in a blind box format.
