Two new surprises have arrived this morning, which we got an official poster for Disney’s Jungle Cruise, along with a new trailer after Good Morning America showed fans an exclusive look.

The full trailer gave fans a inside look of the story which takes place in the Amazon jungle where Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities. By the tree’s power it will change the future of medicine. Leading to an adventurous mission she also enlisted Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson) to guide her downriver on La Quila which his ramshackle-but-charming boat. The unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. As secrets of the lost tree being unfold, the stakes reach even higher for both Lily and Frank while they encounter many dangerous rivals.

Although the film is inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, it will give fans an exciting experience of not only seeing our two favorite actors but also witness the story of an adventure-filled and rollicking thrill-ride.

The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra which also includes producers John Davis and John Fox of Davis Entertainment; Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions; and Beau Flynn of Flynn Picture Co., along with Scott Sheldon and Doug Merrifield serving as executive producers. Screen writers Michael Green and Glenn Ficarra & John Requa, and the story by John Norville & Josh Goldstein and  Glenn Ficarra & John Requa. Most importantly is the other cast members; Edgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.

Disney’s Jungle Cruise releases in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access on July 30, 2021.
