One of urban music’s greatest pioneers, Nicky Jam, faces a new challenge as he deals with the allure of temptation. His latest single, Miami, defines the limits of temptation in a long-lived relationship. A very common life story in which a man is tempted to betray his partner with a girl who represents something new, different and forbidden.
“I think that all my fans are going to love this song. It’s all about real-life experiences, those that can really connect you with the audience, because, unfortunately, heartbreaks are more common than happy endings,” said Nicky Jam.
Directed by Jessy Terrero and filmed in Miami, Florida, the music video is an unprecedented audiovisual production full of bright colors and emotions. Terrero does not miss an opportunity to show the best city landscapes, such as luxurious balconies overlooking the ocean, right up to the bold Miami-style streets where nightlife is the real protagonist.
Under the guidance of the record label La Industria INC/Sony Music Latin, the song track has an A-class team of producers such as Dj Luian, Mambo Kingz, and Neneto.
In May 2021, Jam won three SESAC Latin Awards for the songs “Muevelo” by Jam feat. Daddy Yankee, “Porfa (Remix) by Feid and feat. Maluma, Jam, J Balvin, Sech & Justin Quiles, and “Atrevete” by Jam ft Sech. The Latin organization, which seeks to ensure that its members are rightfully compensated for public performances of their work, honored Jam for the successful sales generated by his most popular songs during the year 2020 and early 2021.
