THE NIGHTTIME LIGHTS AT HOGWARTS CASTLE OFFICIALLY OPENS FRIDAY

Universal Studios Hollywood will unleash officially their brand new night time show inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter area’s this Friday, June 23. The show uses projection mapping onto Hogwarts Castle that is a spectacular site to see as it brings the building to life.

This night time spectacular is similar to what was used for the grand opening of the brand new area of the park last year but with some added light features in the trees surrounding the castle.

It is one of the best projection mapping shows we have seen as of yet. The technology of the projections are so crisp and clear it will be a treat and really brings magic to Hogwarts Castle in the evening. The experience is approximately six minutes long and the start time may very but it will be around 8:30pm when it gets dark and runs from June 23 through September 4, 2017 .

Universal Studios has really done some amazing work with the transformation of the Hollywood park that it has become a full day experience and this light show will cap your great day at the park with you family. We recommend if you are planning to watch the show that you arrive early to get a space cause it will be a popular show as the finale of guests day at the park.

On Friday evening Universal Studios Hollywood will give fans around the world a live look at the show as Universal Studios Hollywood on Facebook will host a Facebook Live event to stream the all-new “The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle” experience at “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” on Friday, June 23 at 8:45pm PST.
