Rising reggeaton singer Nio Garcia announced his upcoming international tour, “AM Tour 2021.” The tour will kick off on August 3 in the Dominican Republic and will make its way to Nashville, TN, on August 13. From there, it will make stops in major cities such as Boston, Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, Long Island, Austin, and Los Angeles, to name a few. The international tour will also include stops in Mexico, Paraguay, and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
Garcia has had an exceptional year that has helped polarize his career in the Latin Urban scene. In July 2021, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded him with platinum and multi-platinum certifications for the singles “La Jeepeta” and “La Jeepeta Remix.”
The remix track debut in April 2021, three months after the original song was released and became an overnight sensation reaching no. 41 on Billboards Hot Latin Songs chart.
Later that month, on June 17, the RIAA certified gold his single “AM” produced by Flow La Movie and GLAD Empire. The track was also given the “remix treatment” by two of Latin music’s most prominent singers, J Balvin and Bad Bunny. With 130 million views on YouTube its first week out, the official video for “AM remix” shows the trio living their best life as they sing about a young couple in the throes of a hot a passionate affair.
“AM Remix” had the biggest debut of a Spanish remix in Spotify’s history and has reached 100 million streams. It is currently: #1 in Latin Digital Songs Sales, #7 in the Global chart, #10 in Global 200, #4 in Hot Latin Songs, and #2 in Latin Streaming Songs.
Recently, Garcia joined Natti Natasha and Brray in the new song “Philliecito,” which has already gotten almost 7 million views in a little over a week of its release. Garcia also took to his Instagram account on August 2 to encourage his fans to pre-save his upcoming single “Tus Poses” on Spotify.
