No Doubt, Sia and Sarah Silverman to perform at An Evening with Women

International superstars No Doubt, Sia and Sarah Silverman will take the stage Saturday, May 16 at the annual An Evening with Women celebration held at the Hollywood Palladium.

No Doubt and Sia are slated to perform intimate acoustic sets, while Silverman will perform a stand-up routine at the event. Hosted by the Los Angeles LGBT Center, An Evening with Women will feature more than 900 LGBT community members, entertainment and music industry supporters and donors.

“We are so honored to be joining the lineup for this year’s An Evening with Women. We applaud the tremendous work Los Angeles LGBT Center has done over the years in striving to create a community where all people are equal and treated with fairness and dignity,” No Doubt said in a joint statement. “This is going to be a really cool show for us….different than the big plugged-in shows we’ve done over the years, it’ll be exciting to switch it up and play a select handful of songs and bring a scaled down, acoustic vibe to them.”

Co-chaired by Linda Perry, Brent Bolthouse, Kelly Lynch and Annie Goto, the event has raised over $4.65 million dollars since 2002 for the Los Angeles LGBT Center who provides services for underserved seniors, women and girls, as well as the homeless youth currently surviving on the streets of Los Angeles.

Since 1969 the Los Angeles LGBT Center has championed and celebrated LGBT individuals and families in Los Angeles and beyond. The Center provides programs, services and global advocacy that deal with health, social services, housing, culture and education, leadership and advocacy.

The event will unite people who support the Center’s mission of building a world where LGBT people thrive as healthy, equal and complete members of society, including the performers themselves.

“I am so happy and proud to be a part of An Evening with Women again this year, and to honor the excellent work they do for the LGBTQ community of Los Angeles,” Sia said in a statement.

An Evening with Women has previously featured live performances by Christina Aguilera, Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett and Courtney Love, among others. They have honored community leaders including Ellen DeGeneres, Sharon Stone and Melissa Etheridge

Additional honorees, participants and attendees will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets are now available for purchase at www.AnEveningWithWomen.org. For more information on the Los Angeles LGBT Center, visit www.lalgbtcenter.org.
