PARTNERS ANNOUNCED FOR 2019 SUMMER DEW TOUR

THE FIRST GLOBAL OLYMPIC QUALIFYING EVENT ON U.S. SOIL FOR SKATEBOARDING

Today, Adventure Sports Network Group (ASN) announced its partners for Dew Tour’s FREE summer skateboard competition and festival to be held in Long Beach, Calif. June 13-16, which will also serve as the first-ever U.S.-based Olympic qualifying event for men’s and women’s skateboard Park and Street competitions. Founding partner MTN DEW™, lead partners Boost Mobile, Subaru, Frontier Communications and additional partners will offer on-site activations to enhance the consumer experience at Dew Tour in two distinct fan-based areas: the Dew Tour Experience and Dew Tour on the Green.

The four-day competition and festival will be held outdoors at the Long Beach Convention Center and Lagoon. The entire event is FREE and open to the public. VIP experiences are available for purchase at DewTour.com and onsite.

More than 300 of the world’s best male and female skateboarders will compete in individual Park and Street events for a chance to win the Dew Tour title, while earning valuable points toward their country’s Olympic skateboarding team.

MTN DEW, the founding partner of the tour since its inception in 2005, will showcase the DEWnited States, an interactive consumer-focused programming pod that celebrates skateboarding and its culture, uniting people from across the globe. The DEW sampling bar will feature product samples, autograph sessions with DEW team athletes, custom gear and spin-to-win games for fans. The DEWnited States Showcase includes a skate deck mural wall featuring the interactive graphics from all 50 DEWnited States bottles printed onto skateboards.  At the end of Dew Tour, the 50 skate decks will be donated to the Long Beach-based Action Sports Kids Foundation (ASK) that focuses on skateboarding, education and community involvement. MTN DEW will also present the Dew View – two alternate views in addition to the Dew Tour’s main livestream programming; the Dew View will include a follow cam focus and a point-of-view from industry influencers at Dew Tour.

Returning partner Boost Mobile will host the Boost Mobile Switch Jam featuring 10 invited pro skaters who will have 30 minutes to hit as many switch tricks as possible on two Boost Mobile custom Switch boxes and an eight-stair Boost Mobile rail, all while earning cash for the best tricks. Judges will also award one skater for the best single switch trick landed with a cash prize. Boost Mobile will also present The Breakdown Course Preview, available on DewTour.com, which will give fans an inside look at the Dew Tour Street and Park Courses by feature. Boost Mobile has also teamed up with the ASK Foundation to ensure that local youth will have the supplies they need for the next school year.  While on-site, Dew Tour fans can stop by the Boost Mobile booth to make a donation of new school supplies and/or clothes; in turn, they can earn branded swag on-site. To celebrate joining forces, Boost Mobile will also make a special donation to ASK of three brand-new tablets, headsets and t-shirts.

As the official Auto of Dew Tour Summer for its second consecutive year, SUBARU will include two onsite activations to showcase their newest line of vehicles and will engage fans and consumers with interactive games including Carpool Karaoke and life size Jenga. Subaru also partnered with Dew Tour on Subaru Sessions videos, featuring Dew Tour skaters Tristan Rennie, CJ Collins and Willy Lara and the unique skate locations that Subaru took them to. Subaru Sessions can be found online exclusively at DewTour.com and Transworld Skateboarding’s website and social channels.

Frontier Communications, the Official Internet Provider of Dew Tour, will be featured in the Dew Tour Experience area. Frontier will have an onsite presence and will be running a VIP Sweepstakes for lucky fans to upgrade their day to the ultimate Dew Tour VIP Experience.
