When you think of car amps, a huge speaker system in the back of a car may be what

you imagine. These systems can be bulky which take up a lot of space.

Pioneer has come up with a subwoofer system that compact; small enough to slide

under car seats. (13-7/16 inches x 9-7/8 inches x 2-3/8 inches)

They use a linkage mechanism that allows the motor to be positioned horizontally to the

sides of a vertically moving dual speaker diaphragms.

They increase output and cancel unnecessary vibrations. With this HTV technology the

system produces excellent bass production as well as natural sound quality.

The system has a frequency response of 20Hz-200Hz, the sensitivity is 98 dB, it has 4

Ohm impedance, as well as a wired remote for adjusting volume, crossover frequency,

and phase.

The Pioneer TS-WH500A subwoofer will be available in March with a suggested price of

$300.
