Spain’s “most popular” alternative rock band is back at it again.
After a three year gap between their last release, Vetusta Morla’s fourth installment, Mismo Sitio, Distino Lugar is here to stir up the music scene with some Spanish flair… non- “Despacito” style.
According to Billboard, since the album’s November release, Vetusta Morla has landed twelfth on Promusicae’s industry report on the best selling albums in 2017 adding to the 25% increase in streaming of Spain’s music.
Overall, the album reminisces with an early 2000’s vibe, back when bands such as The Killers and The Bravery ruled the American airwaves with steady guitar and drums mingling with pulsating, off-beat and catchy tones throttled by emotion.
Streaming of the album is available on iTunes, Spotify, and Vevo. On Vevo, each track is accompanied by stunning and thought-provoking artwork that overall adds to the intrigue that Mismo Sitio, Distino Lugar creates. The album can be listened to here.
