Real Friends have announced their third album “Composure,” after releasing their single “Smiling On The Surface.

Last year, frontman Dan Lambton’s bipolar disorder took a turn for the worse causing the band to take a break from the spotlight. Through these struggles the band decided to focus their time on what they wanted to say through their music.

After their hiatus the long awaited Chicago natives are back with what they call their best effort to date.

“We have never put this much time and effort into a record,” said bassist, Kyle Fasel. “Composure is everything we’ve always come up short on. We focused more on melodies than ever before. We focused more on the overall emotional climate of each song than ever before.”
News of the album comes as the band gets ready to headline the final Vans Warped Tour. The festival will kick off on June 21 at the Pomona Fairplex Grounds in Pomona, CA.

Fans will get to fully experience the album when it’s released on July 13 through Fearless Records.

The album will feature 10 tracks which showcases their transition from pop-punk to pop-rock juggernaut.

Their last album, The Home Inside My Head, received a Billboard top 200 chart placement.
