Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is now open at Disneyland but one of the most anticipated attractions will now not open till January 17, 2020.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance the most ambitious attraction created for any Disney Park has been delayed due to technical difficulties at the Anaheim park. Though the Walt Disney World version of the attraction has an opening date of December 5 just in time for the release of the next Star Wars Movie The Rise of Skywalker.
The official description of what the attraction is the following. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will blur the lines between fantasy and reality and will put guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Guests will be recruited to join Rey and General Organa at a secret base. Along the way, they will be captured by a First Order Star Destroyer. With the help of some heroes of the Resistance, they break out and must escape the Star Destroyer, protect the secret base, and stay one step ahead of Kylo Ren.
Galaxy’s Edge currently features Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run in addition to multiple experiences through of the new land.
