SeaWorld San Diego is proud to announce their newest roller coaster, Emperor, that will be debuting in March of 2022.

California is not only known for its beaches and for Hollywood, but it is also known for its amazing theme parks with SeaWorld San Diego, being among the best not only in California, but across the entire U.S.

Emperor will be the tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster in California, as well as the only floorless dive coaster in the state. For all of you roller coaster enthusiasts, you will not want to miss this. The name of the ride, was named after the park’s largest set of penguins in the world and they have stated that the ride mimics the penguins underwater skills as well.

With feet dangling the entire length of the ride it starts off by climbing a height of 153 feet and plunging downward of 143 feet, reaching a speed of 60mph at its maximum velocity. That is not all this ride has in store, riders will also experience inversions, barrel roll, Immelmann loop, hammerhead turn and flat spin as they race along the nearly 2,500 feet of track.

With enough seating for most whole families to sit together, there will be 18 riders in three rows, making it six riders per row while suspended in mid-air when the ride takes off. This will be the first ride that will accommodate this many riders on one roller coaster in all of North America.
