Shawn Ashmore Talks About Latest Film Darkness Falls

We had the pleasure to talk with the star of the film Darkness Falls, Shawn Ashmore. The film is set to be released on VOD this Friday, June 12, 2020. In addition we talked about his career from being a part of The Rookie on ABC to being Iceman in the X-Men franchise and the future of the franchise now under Marvel Studios.

In the film after his wife’s suicide, Detective Jeff Anderson (Shawn Ashmore) becomes convinced that she has in fact been murdered. Obsessed with his investigation, Anderson finds out that his wife was the victim of a team of father-and-son serial killers. He’ll have to break all the rules to stop them from killing other women.

Darkness Falls was written by Giles Daoust and Directed by Julien Seri. In addition to Ashmore the film also stars Gary Gole, Richard Harmon, Daniella Alonso, Sonya Walger, Vahina Giocante, and Lin Shaye.

Vertical Entertainment will release the film on VOD and Digital platforms including iTunes, Amazon, Apple TV, Google Play, FandangoNow and all major cable/satellite platforms. Once again the film is available this Friday, June 12.
