Singer Jerry Bell to have benefit concert with appearances by Stevie Wonder, Cuba Gooding Jr., and more

Two-time Grammy award-winning artist Jerry Bell is slated to perform at the MusiCares benefit concert this Friday night at the Fonda Theatre in Holywood. Alongside him will perform JD Hall& the Barry White Symphony, the Sounds of The Delphonics, and red carpet appearances by: Stevie Wonder, Larry Dunn of Earth Wind & Fire, Cuba Gooding Jr., and more.


Jerry Bell is the former lead vocalist of popular group “The New Birth,” a famed R&B group from the 70s. Jerry’s solo career expanded in the 80s when he worked with MCA records and debuted the album “Winter Love Affair,” and singing with Motown’s “The Dazz Band.” Jerry is now signed with Bungalo Records, a division of Universal Music group. We can expect him to perform his hit single “You Don’t Know What Love Is,” on Friday night.

This night of soulful music is put on by MusiCares, a charity of the Recording Academy that helps support music people in times of need. They provide a wide array of financial, medical, and personal emergency resources. Their charitable efforts are to focus the attention of the music industry on human service issues that impact the health and welfare of the music community.
