Skrizzly Adams Latest Single Brings Spotify Streams To Over 65 Million

Skrizzly Adams released his latest single “Too Close To Fire” on June 26, 2020. This is the latest release since his debut album “Young Man” which was released in November 2019. The New Jersey native puts his talents on a pedestal in this fun alternative song. Adams’ Spotify statistics stand at an outstanding 65 million streams and on a global scale, he’s sitting on over 85 million independent streams.

When asked about “Too Close To Fire,” Skrizzly said: “I wrote this song about being drawn to recklessness. It was inspired by real life relationships and I tried to capture the excitement and allure that all of us have felt at one point or another in our lives when going through it all.”  

Skrizzly doesn’t just stop at vocals, his talents shine through his songwriting, multi-instrumental, and production. He takes pride in keeping heartland rock traditions alive and adding pop and hip-hop for a fun twist to create an alternative sound.

In 2009, you could find Skrizzly producing out of his dorm room, he funded his musical passions with his talents in engineering. Using a studio based out of Jersey City, the artist independently released his first EP called Stains in 2014.

The Stains EP went on to gain over 2 million streams and counting. The success from the initial EP landed him a major label deal. Around the same time, he went on the road with the likes of Elle King and Lissie as well as going on a “House Party Tour” that took him into fans’ homes.
