Sony Playstation Presentation at E3 2018

Resident Evil 2 and more to be released soon

Sony Playstation media briefing featured a few of the games coming our soon for the gaming console. The event started off as an experience something we have not seen at E3 in the past with The Last of Us Part II.

Developed by Naughty Dog the game the follow up to the 2013 PS3 was a hit and in this second part the graphic and the environments are more intense then in the past. It was an interesting start to the media briefing. We where then led out into a Japanese garden with a video screen showing a field. Into a bigger venue in which the wind was blowing pretty strong as the flowers in the video screens swayed in the digital landscape as they debut Ghost of Tsushima.

The official synopsis for the game is the following, in 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques–the way of The Ghost–and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.

The next exciting titled they showed and which got the biggest reaction was for Resident Evil 2. The genre-defining masterpiece Resident Evil 2 returns, completely re-built from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience. Using Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine, Resident Evil 2 offers a fresh take on the classic survival horror saga with breathtakingly realistic visuals, heart-poundingly. See the trailer below:

The final game big title they showed which got the audience excited at the media briefing was for Marvel’s Spider-Man. We saw and played the game at the Playstation Experience last fall and were blown away by the game play. What Sony showed made us place a deposit after the show and it was a fun experience from what they showed.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man features your favorite web-slinger in a story unlike any before it. Now a seasoned Super Hero, Peter Parker has been busy keeping crime off the streets as Spider-Man. Just as he’s ready to focus on life as Peter, a new villain threatens New York City. Faced with overwhelming odds and higher stakes, Spider-Man must rise up and be greater.

These were the four top games we saw and the crowd reacted to in at the media briefing yesterday. You can see the full E3 2018 Showcase below as well as our photo gallery of last nights event.
