Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge To Feature John Williams Score

Over the weekend it was announced by Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek at the Destination D event in Orlando, Florida that the legendary composer John Williams will be doing the score for the music of the new Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge.

A preview of the new music was giving in the video above and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra and is being recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Though that was not the only new from the event. The names for the two new attractions arriving at the name were also unveiled.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance puts guests in the middle of an epic battle between the Resistance and the First Order.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run puts guests behind the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy in one of three unique flight crew roles.

Both attractions will launch first at Disneyland in the Summer of 2019 and then at Walt Disney World in the Fall. Disney has promised to be one of the most unique experiences to ever come to the theme parks on either coast.
