Steve Aoki Debuts BTS’ ‘The Truth Untold’ Remix Live at Tomorrowland

EDM version of “The Truth Untold” Unveiled at Tomorrowland, Trends on Twitter

EDM producer Steve Aoki tapped into the massive BTS Army’s fanbase late last year when he collaborated with the Korean pop group, dropping the “Mic Drop (Remix)” featuring Desiigner, and this year’s heartfelt piano ballad “The Truth Untold” by the boy band’s third studio album Love Yourself: Tear. On Friday, Aoki closed down the main stage at Tomorrowland and surprised fans when he unveiled a new remix for the group’s song “The Truth Untold” during his live performance.

The song is a down-tempo ballad that reflects the sorrow and inner struggles of upholding a public image, originally performed by BTS’ four vocalists-Jin, V, Jungkook, and Jimin. But of course the electro house producer put his own spin on the Tomorrowland stage, treating the crowd with an alternate EDM version of “The Truth Untold” filled with intense beats that got the crowd dancing and raging to the feel-good party vibe remix.

Aoki debuted the EDM version on Tomorrowland’s live stream, later trending on Twitter with 182K tweets and for #TheTruthUntoldRemix with over 365K tweets.

The songwriter cut the music mid-song and gave a shoutout to BTS’ fanbase.

“This one goes to all the BTS ARMY all around the world,” Aoki shouted.

Although fans may be eagerly searching for “The Truth Untold” remix online, there is not an official version of the song just yet.

Fans can enjoy a video of Aoki’s entire set at the festival, along with a short snippet of the song which he shared on Twitter.
