Fullerton, CA – On Saturday, November 14 The Bombpops performed at The Slidebar Rock-n-Roll Kitchen where they rocked the audience with their performance. They killed their set with the different catchy melodies and lyrics. By their second song everyone was bobbing their heads with their drinks in the air as a sign of respect for the band.

Their performance showed how passionate they are about their music and that’s what made the performance successful. These talented ladies and gentlemen definitely bring energy to the stage which is something that is hard to match up against many other up and coming bands like themselves. The Bombpops are formed by Jen Razavi and Poli Van Dam on guitar/vocals with Neil Wayne and Josh Lewis on the bass and drums. They are really more than just an band fronted by two girls with pretty faces because they are tough and can play guitar and vocals that puts them with the punk greats.

The Bombpops started in 2007 and have channeled the youth aggression in the San Diego punk scene. They went from playing at bars to hallow halls to now touring the United States. The Bombpops have had the opportunity to share stages with bands that have inspired them such as: Descendents, Bad Religion, NOFX, No Use For a Name, Alkaline Trio, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Good Riddance, GBH,Teenage Bottlerocket, The Frustrators, and Strung Out. The band joined the Red Scare Industries in 2010, have relocated to Los Angeles, CA and have released two EPs to date.
