ESPN aired episodes one and two of a 10-part docuseries on Sunday evening and captivated the record setting 6.1 million viewers. People around the world have begun their journey into the career of NBA superstar and Chicago Bulls legend, Michael Jordan.

“The Last Dance,” is exactly what sports fanatics needed in the midst of a sports-less global pandemic. Jordan fans and sports fans all over were treated to the series two months early, as the docuseries was originally set to air in June.

The never before seen footage dives into the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls final championship season. The Chicago Bulls granted an NBA film crew to document the featured footage.

The series will air on Sunday evenings all the way through May 17. Episode three will air at 6 p.m. PT and be followed by episode four at 7 p.m. PT on April 26.
