The Music Community Comes To Anaheim For NAMM 2015

The annual NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) landed at the Anaheim Convention Center over the weekend bringing companies who handle everything dealing with music and audio under one roof.

It is not open to the general public but many of the musicians around Southern California and the world attend to see the latest gear and to build new contacts with possible suppliers of the gear they will be using as they take the stage on their next tour or show.

What CES is to the tech world this is the convention for the music industry. Gibson, Fender, Ibanez and more show their latest models as well as products that were featured in the past. It is not only the instruments but you can also meet up with people who make and sell DJ equipment, stage lightning and more.

Drummer from local band Los Angeles River Swim Team, John Tayra who mentioned to us when we were waiting in line to meet Tre’ Cool from the band Green Day that shows like this help him not only promote his band but meet musicians who can give advice and talk music with many of the people who attend.

The NAMM show reaches more than 99,000 attendees from 102 countries and regions and feature debuts of the newest products over the weekend special concerts held around the area make Anaheim a city filled with music over the four days. If you are a musicians this is the show you must attend.
