Tom Hiddleston released on his twitter account the first footage of his performance as legendary country music artist, Hank Williams, in the film ‘I Saw The Light’. Hiddleston sing the song, ‘Move It On Over’ in the clip.
The film tells the story of Williams raise to fame in the country music world between 1940 to 1949 until his untimely death at the age of 29 when he died of heart failure due to drug and alcohol abuse. Some of the classics Williams released are songs like, “Your Cheatin’ Heart,†“Hey, Good Lookin’,†“I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry,†and of course, “I Saw the Light.â€
The film premieres tomorrow at the Toronto Film Festival but opens in theaters on November 27.
