Travis Barker’s Annual Musink Festival Returns to Costa Mesa, California this weekend, March 16th-18th

Musink fest returns to Southern California this weekend for its eleventh consecutive year. Founder and Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker announced the festival’s return late January. The lineup revealed some of music’s biggest names as well as many of the tattoo world’s elite artists.

This included Lil Yachty, Blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, Descendents and Good Charlotte. A full list of the tattoo artists that will be in attendance can be found at the festival’s website. The three-day event features thousands of world famous tattoo artists that are seen showcasing their skills in various contests and activities for fest-goers to watch and admire.

The festival also includes a car show that showcases vintage vehicles in the Low + Slow Car Show. Miss Musink makes it’s return as well, inviting the top inked beauties to the festival to compete for the title of Miss MUSINK 2018 and a spot as the next official Sullen Angel, according the website.

Opening night, the all-ages festival will headline the Descendents followed by acts Fear, Strung Out and The Adolescents. Pop-Punk Blink-182 will kick-off Saturday, March 17th followed by peers Good Charlotte and The Interrupters. The final day will feature some of hip-hop’s newest hot-shots in Machine Gun Kelly and Lil Yachty as well as Wifisfuneral and The Fever 333.

“It’s always a lot of fun to put an event together. It’s never really stressful. Most of the time, the bands are someone we know or someone we work with. So yeah, it’s always fun. It’s almost like, “okay, how can we outdo ourselves this year,” said Barker in an interview when asked about his role in the festival’s operations and the artist lineup.

Tickets are still available to purchase on the festival website. One-day tickets start at around $40-$50 while weekend tickets start a little higher, at around $100. A breakdown of the ticket prices follows below.
