U2 released the full length video for the song, ‘Invisible‘. The song was released in a (RED) commercial during Super Bowl weekend and will be on the forth coming album set to be released sometime this summer.
The official video for ‘Invisible‘ was directed by Mark Romanek. Shot in black and white, in a Santa Monica airport hangar, over three days in January.
The sixty second clip which premiered on February 2nd during the Super Bowl, launched a partnership with (RED) and Bank of America in the fight against AIDS. In 36 hours downloads of #U2Invisible’ raised more than $3m. All proceeds from ‘Invisible’ on iTunes continue to go to (RED) for the Global Fund.
U2 will also be performing their oscar nominated song, “Ordinary Love” at the Academy Awards on March 2. U2’s exclusive Oscar show performance will be the first time the band will perform the song live. The Oscars, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, will air on Sunday, March 2, live on ABC.
