Universal has continued to put out engaging themes for their Running Universal events and always encourages runners to run in their favorite costumes along the backlot of the park. This year however, due to Covid-19, they have announced that the event will be going virtual for its first time.

The Trolls themed event will take place this summer and includes a 5K,10K, and Kids 1K race. All ages are welcome to take part and registration is now open at RunningUniversal.com with several packages to choose from. While the registration is limited, the Virtual Race can be competed any time between June 15 and September 30.

Running packages range from $25.00-$89.00 each including their own perks from backpacks to pins and reusable water bottles. Still, all participants will be eligible to receive a collectible fisher medal each with their own Trolls character.

To add to the at-home experience, Universal Studios Hollywood asks runners to tune in to the “Running Universal” playlist on Spotify. While it may seem different running with no one else around, you can still share your experience using the hashtag #RunningUniversal to see others nationwide.
