VANS WARPED TOUR PARTNERS WITH CITY OF VENTURA, CA & VENTURA LAND TRUST FOR A DAY OF SERVICE

Vans Warped Tour has announced they will partner with the City of Ventura and the Ventura Land Trust for this year’s service day. On June 25th, volunteers will help clean up the River Estuary at the Ventura County Fairgrounds (the same location where the Vans Warped Tour will take place), which has been badly damaged by invasive species, litter, and debris following the devastating fires and landslides earlier this year.

Volunteers will stay at the venue the night of June 24th, where a benefit and barbecue will take place to benefit the Thomas Firefighters. The following day, volunteers will work between 8 AM and 1 PM on litter cleanup, invasive plant removal, and habitat restoration. Breakfast and lunch will both be catered. Showers and restrooms will also be available onsite.

Every year, Vans Warped Tour hosts a service day to give back to the communities and cities that the tour stops in. Previous service days have included working with Journey Through Hallowed Ground to plant trees in Gettsyburg, cleaning up areas affected by flooding in Nashville, and improving parks in Western Maryland.
