The city of Pomona wasn’t just hot because of the Southern California weather. This years Vans 2015 Warped tour had artist that definitely blazed the stage!
A very diverse crowd came to the Pomona Fairplex to listen to Rock inspired sounds.
Vans welcomed new artists on this tours lineup as well as some familiar faces. The band 3 PM is new this year to the warped tour but they didn’t show it in the slightest. I got the opportunity to interview the three talented gentlemen who told me that this summer they’re putting their all into their dreams and their band. They’re ready for more people to get in touch with their music and hope to release an album later on this year.
Another new artist BeBe Rexha performed as well. Not only was she focused on having a great show but she was also focused on connecting with her fans. She signed albums, body parts and even took pictures with people who adore her in every single way.
I also got the chance to talk with Man Overboard who are vets to this tour. Being able to perform on the main stage this year is what they call “a dream come true.†You could see the gratification in their performance. They sure know how to put on a show! Everyone in the crowd was waving their arms and moving their bodies to Man Overboard’s familiar yet distinctive rock sound.
This tour made me see the band members in a whole other light, aside from the ones that will shine on them every single night. This perspective is something I especially saw in the band Fit For A King. Besides making great music they also do a lot of community and charity related work. Giving back is something only a few musicians can make time for. However, this band sees it as a priority. They believe that the fame can all be taken away in a snap of a finger, so their time here on Earth needs to be spent doing something that will last for a lifetime.
