Will June be Hip-Hop and R&B’s Hottest Month?

Some say Global Warming is real and is the reason for the hot summer that’s to come in 2018. We now know June will be the hottest month thanks to Hip-Hop/R&B.

Music artists Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Nas, Teyana Taylor, Pusha T, and Drake have very much almost everything to do with the hot weather.

Kanye West returned to Twitter Friday (April 13) after 11 months of being dormant to release some exciting news.

Kanye West shared news of his up and coming new philosophy book that he’s writing. “I will work on this ‘book’ when I feel it,” he said.

Also, West shared his two music projects that will be dropping this summer. His album will include 7 songs and will drop June 1st not only but also his joint album with Kid Cudi on June 8th.

Kanye West and Kid Cudi have collaborated in the past with Kid Cudi’s Man On The Moon I and II that were released from Kanye West’s  G.O.O.D. Music Label which Kanye featured on both.

Along with, the favor returned to Kanye West by Cudi contributing to every Kanye West album since 808s & Heartbreak.

However, they had begun a little fued from Kid Cudi calling Kanye West out on using his old vocals on Kanye’s Yeezus’ “Guilt trip” back in 2014.

Fast-forward to 2016, Kid Cudi tweeted that Kanye West “don’t give a fuck about me. And [he] ain’t fuckin’ with me.”

Kanye West came back saying “Don’t never mention Ye name. I birthed you.” shortly after that Kanye affirmed, “Kid Cudi is my brother.”

Which lead to Cudi bringing Kanye West on stage during his show in February 2018. Now we have an album to look forward to in June.

In Light of Kanye West dropping gold nuggets on us, he adds fuel to the fire by also tweeting three more artists releasing their albums this summer.

Teyana Taylor on June 22nd and Pusha T on May 25th with their sophomore albums and Nas on June 15th.

Kanye West is expected to have some creative input into Teyana Taylor, Cudi, Pusha T, and Nas albums.

In addition, Drake adds to the summer madness after he reveals his forthcoming album, Scorpion days after the release of “Nice For What”.

Drake’s year takes off with his release of Scary Hours in January 2018. which featured “Gods Plan.” which debuted No. 1 on Billboard Charts for eleven weeks.

Drake announced the news in an Instagram post on Tuesday (April 16).
