NAMM Technical Excellence and Creativity (TEC Awards) took place this week during the NAMM Believe in Music week Jan. 18-22. The awards recognize ” pro audio, sound worlds of music making, live performances, video games, television and films.” Eric Geer who is the TEC Entries & Nominations Supervisor shared, “Given the world engaged in virtual interaction on an unprecedented level, the products honored helped connect us all by delivering music and sound across the world.”

Some of the wins of the night, “Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince” on CBS” won Remote Production/Recording or Broadcast. “The Mandalorian, Season One” on Disney+ known to be a “Star Wars-theme” won Television Sound Production.
