World Premiere of ‘Christopher Robin’ includes a Garden Theme Red Carpet

Marc Forster Announces who Inspired him to Recreate the Animated Pooh Characters

Disney Studios morphed into the Hundred Acre Wood as the world premiere of Christopher Robin’ took place Monday night.

Stars of the new film gathered for the event as the entrance welcomed them with their character roles. Winnie, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger sat in lawn chairs at the start of the carpet and created the reality feature of this lovable, animated fairytale.

Directed by Marc Forster, the film is the latest live-action remake of a Disney classic, following the massive success of other live-action remakes like “Beauty and the Beast,” which grossed $1.2 billion at the global box office.

According to Forster his inspiration to create this live-action movie, came from his daughter.  While watching Winnie the Pooh and friends in the animated film, his own daughter requested he’d make her a Pooh movie for her. The idea sparked as he realized that this all-time favorite film should be created in live-action, for children and family to enjoy and remember.

Producer Kristin Burr agrees that this friendly film is “timeless and it’s  includes an abundance of honey indulgence and various naps throughout the movie. And who doesn’t love taking naps after eating a large pot of honey?

After all, that is the message that the producers tried to convey, enjoying life and all that it offers, whether it is honey or naps, life was made to enjoy in the present.

Pooh and his friends come to the big screen today, so grab your favorite pot of honey and take your nap before going to the movies.
