Yella Beezy Shot During Drive-By Shooting In Texas

The Rapper from Dallas, Texas that is best known for the single “That’s On Me,”  has been hospitalized  after being shot in Lewisville, Texas on Sunday (October 14).

According to police, the shooting occurred on the Rayburn Tollway around 3:30 a.m,  after another vehicle pulled up alongside him to shoot.  A dozen shots were fired resulting in Yella Beezy being hit three times.

Police found Yella Beezy on the State Highway 121 Bypass and then took him to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Yella Beezy’s track “That’s On Me” solidified his spot on the Billboard Hot 100  in August. The success and strong radio presence had that record spending 19 weeks on the R & B/Hip-Hop Airplay Charts.
