Six Flags Magic Mountain announced plans to transform its children’s area into Looney Tunes Land, a reimagined family-focused section set to debut in summer 2026.

The new land will feature classic Looney Tunes characters and draw visual inspiration from the Chuck Jones era, with four themed areas centered on travel and exploration. A central park will serve as the hub, welcoming guests into Bugs Bunny’s home, while surrounding areas highlight Road Runner, Taz and Daffy Duck.

One section, TAZ-MANIA, will be set in a tropical environment marked by the chaos of the Tasmanian Devil. The Whistlestop Train will be rethemed as Taz’s Tasmanian Train Tours, offering a guided ride through the island landscape. A new Taz’s Exploration Trail will replace Magic Flyer and Tweety’s Escape, featuring interactive play elements, seating and turf areas.

In Road Runner Ridge, guests will enter a New Mexico desert-inspired setting where Wile E. Coyote continues his pursuit of the Road Runner. The area will include rock formations, desert scenery and hidden ACME-style details, including a painted tunnel reminiscent of the cartoons.

The Bugs Bunny Play Park will replace Speedy Gonzalez Hot Rods and Pepe Le Pew’s Tea Party, offering free-play and exploration zones. The Merrie Melodies Merrie-Go-Round will be refurbished with updated colors and signage. Wascal’s restaurant will be refreshed with redesigned façades, added picnic tables and a new Granny’s House façade featuring an explorable interior.

The fourth area, Camp Duck Amuck, will be themed to the High Sierra and led by Daffy Duck. Taz’s Trucking Company will become Daffy’s Forest Four-Wheelers, a jeep-style ride where guests join Daffy on a ranger patrol. Educational signage will emphasize conservation and outdoor safety. The Looney Tunes Lodge will also be renovated to resemble a mountain cabin.

“The new Looney Tunes Land will be a continuation of our mutually successful partnership with Warner Bros. that began more than 40 years ago,” said Raffi Kaprelyan, senior vice president and West Coast regional general manager for Six Flags. “We are counting down the days until we can invite families to experience the whimsy and fun of Looney Tunes in a way that is more immersive and exciting than ever before.”

Each themed area will feature its own color palette, landscaping, signage and design elements, including character footprints embedded in concrete walkways.

Construction is scheduled to begin in early January 2026 following the park’s Holiday in the Park event. The project will be completed in three phases, with areas not under construction remaining open. Additional attraction updates and name changes will be announced ahead of opening.

The debut of Looney Tunes Land will coincide with Magic Mountain’s 55th anniversary and marks the park’s second major project in a multi-year investment plan, following renovations to Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles in 2025.
