Knott’s PEANUTS Celebration returns this year with a new show featuring the Knott’s Express Trolley and a limited-time exhibition, “Kite Flying Foibles.” Snoopy and the PEANUTS gang will once again take over the park with family-friendly fun on weekends from Jan. 31 through Feb. 22. Guests can also enjoy a lineup of returning shows and photo opportunities inspired by the iconic PEANUTS comic strip, along with multiple chances to interact with favorite characters throughout the park.

One of this year’s highlights is the new Knott’s Express show, a traveling musical adventure featuring energetic dance numbers, heartwarming songs from the Golden Age and unexpected surprises for Charlie Brown and his friends. The trolley will make three stops during each performance in the Boardwalk area, Charleston Circle and near the Boardwalk Ballroom. Each stop will feature music and choreography inspired by its location, with songs ranging from “Put on a Happy Face” to “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile.” Performances will include colorful costumes, streamers and other whimsical touches.

At Calico Town Hall, guests can explore the limited-time exhibition “Kite Flying Foibles,” organized by the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. The exhibit examines kite-flying through the lens of the PEANUTS gang, featuring high-quality reproductions of original comic strips, drawings and photographs. PEANUTS creator Charles M. Schulz famously struggled with flying kites, a frustration shared — and amplified — by Charlie Brown. The exhibition highlights the humor and relatability that helped make Schulz’s work enduring.

The Calico Mine Stage will host “Let’s Celebrate,” a musical tribute featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown and their friends, along with singers and dancers, honoring 75 years of PEANUTS. In the evening, the stage will transform for Snoopy’s Legendary Rooftop Concert, a high-energy performance featuring the PEANUTS gang and indie band The Jelly of the Month Club.

In Calico Park, Franklin and Linus don cowboy attire for the PEANUTS Cowboy Jamboree, inviting guests to take part in a series of western-themed games. Also in Ghost Town, Pigpen’s Pig Pen will offer a special meet-and-greet at the Livery Stables, where Pigpen and the PEANUTS gang will be joined by animal friends.

PEANUTS-themed activities continue at the Wilderness Dance Hall with PEANUTS Sketch School, an interactive experience that teaches guests how to draw their favorite characters. A resident art instructor will guide participants through step-by-step lessons designed for all ages.

The celebration also features a selection of limited-time PEANUTS-inspired food and beverages. Savory offerings include a gruyere cheese raclette baked potato with grilled onions and mac and cheese bites topped with barbecue bacon and spicy aioli. Sweet treats include a confetti birthday funnel cake with glazed icing, sprinkles and circus animal cookies, as well as peanut butter and jelly-stuffed deep-fried French toast.
