Universal Orlando Resort is gearing up for its next major attraction with Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, a high-octane outdoor roller coaster set to open at Universal Studios Florida in 2027.
Replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, the new coaster will immerse guests in the high-speed world of Universal Pictures’ Fast & Furious franchise. Riders will experience 360-degree drifting and a series of intense maneuvers, including a 170-foot vertical spike that sends them nearly 17 stories into the air above the edge of Universal CityWalk.
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will join Universal Orlando Resort’s lineup of award-winning coasters and reflects the continued growth and innovation of Universal Destinations & Experiences. A separate, one-of-a-kind Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift outdoor coaster is also scheduled to debut later this year at Universal Studios Hollywood.
As construction begins on the new attraction, Fast & Furious — Supercharged will permanently close in 2027.
Additional details about Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will be released in the coming months. More information about Universal Orlando Resort and email updates on the new coaster are available at UniversalOrlando.com.
