NEWS X MUSE Manny Gomez spoke with executive producer and director of two of the nights, Albert Hughes of “The Continental: From the World of John Wick’,’ which is now available in its entirety exclusively on Peacock.

During our conversation, Hughes tells us if he follows the fan reactions as the three-part event progressed the past few weeks, as well as if he had been surprised by some people discovering certain Easter eggs throughout the episodes. We also chat about the world and John Wick and how liberating it was for him to be able to play in a world that doesn’t necessarily follow the same rules as our reality.

Here is the logline for Lionsgate’s “The Continental: From the World of John Wick” provided by Peacock:

The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.

The series stars Mel Gibson, Colin Woodell, Mishel Prada, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain, Ayomide Adegun, Jeremy Bobb, and Peter Greene.
