NEWS X MUSE Manny Gomez spoke with Benjamin Levy Aguilar. He is one of the stars of NBC’s “Chicago P.D.” as Dante Torres. His character is fresh off patrol duty and comes into intelligence as a rookie. Torres is the focal point of an undercover storyline in season 11 of the series.
In our conversation with Aguilar, we talked about the cliffhanger that they left us on in episode four of Chicago P.D. ‘s 11th season titled, “Escape”. He teased the episode and talked about working with Yara Martinez who plays Gloria in the series and a key character in this undercover arc. Aguilar also shares with us his experience playing Torres and how its been as an actor playing a character with many layers. It was a great conversation that you can check out above!
Here is more information about Benjamin Levy Aguilar Aguilar is best known for his role on “Filthy Rich” and recently recurred on Netflix’s “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window,” opposite Kristen Bell.
Born and raised in Guatemala, Aguilar was a standout athlete and excelled in soccer as a child. He was recruited to participate in the junior academies for the world-renowned Italian football club, AC Milan. He later studied Krav Maga and his discipline led to a position with the largest security firm in Guatemala, where he served during the 2011 Guatemalan presidential election. At the age of 18, he decided to pursue acting and moved to Los Angeles where he currently lives.
