NEWS X MUSE Manny Gomez spoke with Andrew Baird, director of the new horror feature film from Lionsgate, “Sunrise” starring Guy Pearce and Alex Pettyfer. The film will be in theaters and available on digital and on-demand on January 19th.

During our conversation, we talked about “Sunrise” and its version of a creature of the night, a vampire, which in this film is known as a Red Coat, and how its presence in this small town allows for a deeper exploration of fear. We also talk about the visual aspects of the film including the color pallet that allows for “Sunrise” to have an intimate story. It’s a great conversation and it’s always a pleasure to chat with Baird, you can check out the full interview above.
