On this extended episode of NEWS X MUSE I spoke with Elizabeth Litten Miller of WildBrain to talk about the debut of Strawberry Shortcake at L.A. Comic Con. Those who attended the show had the chance to take pictures with four different versions of the beloved character who has been a pop culture icon for 44 years.
During our conversation, we talked about the impact of Strawberry Shortcake since her creation in 1973 when she debuted a simple greeting card. Miller introduced us to some of the new merchandise that features famed artist Kimmy “SpooksieBoo Perez”, as well as some of their upcoming plans for 2024 as Strawberry Shortcake turns 45!
